Jaime Hill
Jaime was born and grew up in Hundred, West Virginia (yes, there really is a place called Hundred) where she graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Administration, and an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She moved to Florida in 2001 where she worked for Florida Veterinary Specialists and Cancer Treatment Center for eight years. During that time, she earned her Masters of Business Administration degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
Jaime joined the Countryside Animal Clinic team in 2009, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise, in both the medical and business areas. Her skills, welcoming smile and infectious laugh are enjoyed by clients, patients and team members.
Jaime's four legged family members include, Athena, a rescued boxer; and three cats, Lainey, Kramer and Newman. Her passion is football, specifically, University of West Virginia football... GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!
Chief Financial Officer
Robin Stokes
Robin was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, but grew up in Citrus County. She graduated from the University of Florida in 1998, with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. She joined the Countryside Animal Clinic team in 2004, bringing an invaluable wealth of financial knowledge and expertise to the clinic.
She is married to Stephen, and they have two children, Lauren and Austin. Their family pets include one pit bull named Rex and four quarter horses, Wally, Logan, Classy and J Jay.
Robin's hobbies are horseback riding, showing horses, and boating.
Client Relations
Kim Largey
Kim was born and grew up in East Liverpool, Ohio. She moved to Tampa following graduation, then to Citrus County in 1999. She was attracted by the beautiful area and small town feeling. Kim joined the Countryside Animal Clinic team in 2009.
Kim's significant other is Mark, and Scott, Brian and Kelly are her grown two-legged children. Her four-legged children include Zoey, a 4 lb Yorkie who thinks she is ten feet tall; Charlie, a Peek-mix; and Kitty-Kitty, who was the only kitten born in a litter.
Kim enjoys any outdoor activity - fishing, hiking, horseback riding and camping.
UPDATE...Mark and Kim were married May 27, 2009. Congratulations!
Certified Veterinary Technicians
Vicky Stephens, CVT
Vicky was born in Ocala, Florida, where she lives with her husband, Larry. She graduated with her degree in Animal Health Technology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 1985, and joined the clinic following graduation. Vicky joined Dr. Dunn, Diana and one other employee to become one of the "founding" Countryside Animal Clinic team members.
Vicky and Larry have two cats, Prissy and Archie, who are extremely spoiled. Her hobbies include following FSU football, golf and traveling.
Vicky's favorite clinic memories have been her surprise fifteenth Countryside anniversary party, and working on the many Hurricane Katrina rescue spays and neuters.
Jamie White, CVT
Jamie lived in upstate New York as a child on a horse and poultry farm. She moved to Brooksville, FL in the 1970's with her family and met her husband Pete in high school.
Jamie received her AA degree and continued her education at St. Pete Community College graduating as a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Jamie and Pete have one daughter Leah. Their four legged family members include 3 miniature horses, 1 cat named Oreo, 2 Anatolian Shepherds (siblings that guard the goats), 25 registered pygmy goats, and 2 non-releasable owls (a Great Horned and Screech owl).
Her hobbies include quilting, gardening and basket weaving.
Jamie's favorite clinic memories were the clinic scavenger hunt, and when a choked horse sneezed all over Dr. Phillips.
Renee Snyder, CVT
Renee was born in South Amboy, NJ, and lived in Cliffwood Beach, NJ for 31 years. She attended college in Weicester, Ma before moving to Citrus County in 1999. She is married to Jon, who lived in Florida while dating Renee, and following marriage decided to settle here. They have lived in Citrus County since 1999.
Renee has her Associate of Arts degree, and is a Certified Veterinary Technician as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Renee and Jon's four legged family members include Sumter, a hound/rottweiler/doberman mix, found on Hwy. 44 in Rutland. Following two weeks of searching his owners were not found and he joined the Snyder family.
Renee and Jon enjoy roller blading and participate in numerous long distance roller blading events. Her favorite clinic memory is participating in the clinic activities for Pet Awareness week, hot dogs, chicken, the petting zoo and sharing her pet snake. It was fun!

Donna Posa
Donna was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Citrus County in 1989. She is married to Pasquale and they have a daughter, Gina and a son Cody Michael. Donna is very proud of Cody, who recently became a U.S. Marine following graduation from high school in 2009.
Donna and her family have a 20 acre mini farm with chickens, goats and cows. The remaining four-legged family members are Montana, an English Mastiff, Hombre, a dachshund/chihuahua mix, Charlie, a pug, Delilah a mastiff/lab mix, and 6 cats.
Donna enjoys camping, girl scouts, family activities and going to the beach. Her favorite clinic memories have been helping the community get to know the clinic with our open houses and National Pet Awareness week.
Laura Ilaria
Laura was born and grew up in Miami, Florida. She lived in South Florida for 35 years, and has been in Citrus County since 2006. Laura is married to Vinny, and they have one son, Vinny Jr.. She always wanted to own horses and property, and now shares 5 acres with her mother-in-law, Doreen.
Laura and her family have 3 dogs, Diesel, Ziva and Abby; 2 cats, Loco and Momo; 2 pygmy goats, Splash and Snickers; 1 potbellied pig, Snausage; 7 horses, Bella, Ducce, Ruby, Doodles, Bell, Buttercup; and a mini horse named Cocomo. We include my mother-in-laws dog, Mango.
Laura enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family and friends.
Mark Ready
Mark was born in Brevard County, and attended Valencia Community College for two years. Tracy is his longtime girlfriend of 10 years who is now a teacher at Citrus Springs Middle School. Their four legged family members are 2 labs, Chloe and Benny, and Jeremiah an American Pitt Bull Terrier.
He has lived in Citrus County for since 2006, and enjoys sporting events, AKC hunt tests, basketball and football.
His favorite memories are working with exotics in the past, from big cats to monkeys, but mainly enjoys helping animals and meeting their owners.
Roni Getchell
Roni joined the Countryside Animal Clinic team in 2007. She has lived in Citrus County on and off since 1999. Her four legged family members include a dog and a cat.
Roni is an experienced veterinary assistant, who provides thorough outpatient and inpatient services to our patients and their owners. Roni's sense of humor, especially with "dressing up" helps make the clinic a fun place to work.
Heather Aselton
Heather joined the Countryside Animal Clinic team in 2010, when she moved back to Florida from Georgia. She graduated from Belleview High School in 1998, received her Veterinary Assisting/Technical Certificate, and is attending Georgia Perimeter College for an Associate of Science degree. Heather brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Countryside team, with a special interest in veterinary dentristry.
Heather has three children, a yellow lab named "Harley" and a fish named "Fins".

Jennifer Johnson
Jennifer lives in Ocala with her husband, Bryan. She attended Indiana University of Pa, studying Physical Education, and International C. School to become an Animal Care Specialist. Jennifer joined the Countryside Animal Clinic team in March, 2000.
Jennifer and Bryan enjoy one dog and 12 cats - all rescues.
Large Animal Technician
Kathy Ernst
Kathy was born in Fremont Ohio, and has lived in NYC, Okinawa, Indiana, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. She worked for American Airlines and Northwest Airlines prior to moving to Perry, Georgia to become the owner/operator of 3 Horse Boarding, Training, Breeding Farms. She decided to downsize from 70 horses and moved back to Florida in 1997. Initially she worked for an Ocala Equine Hospital prior to joining the Countryside Animal Clinic team in 1999 as an equine mobile technician.
Kathy completed two years of college and numerous equine continuing education seminars. She is married to George and has a stepdaughter and two stepsons. Their four legged children include Kristi the Yorkshire terrier, Spike the Yorkie/Pekingese, Tally the alternating sweet/nasty calico cat and Premier Edition, the 18 year old Arabian who was the first foal born at the Georgia farm.
Her hobbies include breeding, showing, trail riding Arabian horses and antiquing.
